This week alone, we’d already seen a swathe of Huawei P40 series renders including one which depicts all it’s available color variants, as well as the ones which provide us a close look at the front design of the P40 and P40 Pro.
Right now, renown leaker Ishan Agarwal continues to build up the hype by releasing yet another set of renders which give us a better idea of how the upcoming Huawei P40 Pro will look like.
As mentioned before, the front panel of the P40 Pro will feature a so-called “Quad-curved display” which is a term coined to describe it’s subtle curves along the edges.
If you still doesn’t know what it means, the render above will give u a close-up look of it’s “Quad-curved display” from the side. Notice that the curvature actually extends to it’s top and bottom edges as well.
Other than that, the front panel of the Huawei P40 Pro also has a pill-shaped camera module which will house a dual-camera setup which is likely to be fitted with a main shooter and an ultra-wide lens.
On the flip-side, we can expect to see a unique rectangular camera module which play host to a revolutionary quad-camera setup. It is widely believed that the P40 Pro would feature a 52 megapixels Sony-made “Quad Quad Bayer” sensor as it’s main camera.
As for the other three sensors, they are likely to be a cine lens, telephoto lens, as well as a portrait lens. The actual specifications of these camera sensors remain unknown for the time being.
Under the hood, the Huawei P40 Pro will be driven by the Kirin 990 SoC which will allow the device to support 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
Just like most other recent flagship devices, we can expect the P40 Pro to feature the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage technologies as well.
If nothing goes wrong, the Huawei P40 flagship series will be officially announced through an online launch event on March 26th.
