Redmi K30 5G Receives First Price Cut of 200 Yuan

The Redmi K30 5G was made official for purchase at the beginning of this year as the company’s first 5G phone. The handset arrived as the cheapest 5G phone in China. Today, the company announced a first ever and a permanent price cut for Redmi K30 5G.  While the base model of the phone continues to sell at the same price, its three other variants are now available with up to 200 Yuan ($28) discount.

The 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage edition of the Redmi K30 5G continues to sell at 1,999 Yuan ($281).  The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage versions of the Redmi K30 5G with respective price tags of 2,299 Yuan ($324), 2,599 Yuan ($366) and 2,899 Yuan ($409).

With the new price arrangement, these models are now selling for 2,199 Yuan ($309), 2,399 Yuan ($338) and 2,699 Yuan ($422). The handset comes in four color options such as blue, red, purple and white.

Redmi K30 5G Specifications

The Redmi K30 5G comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display that produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a tall aspect ratio of 20:9. The MIUI 11 based Android 10 OS comes preloaded on the device. The handset features a side-facing fingerprint reader. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 765G mobile platform.

The Redmi K30 Pro 5G has a 64-megapixel (Sony IMX686) + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera system. The display punch-hole has a 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual frontal shooters. it houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.
