TCL has officially announced a trio of mid-ranger smartphones including TCL 10L, TCL 10 5G and TCL 10 Pro. These new devices offer a refreshed design which set them apart from other mid-rangers in the market. Let’s learn more about these devices below.
TCL 10L Specifications & Pricing
Let’s begin with the most affordable model in the lineup, TCL 10L. This device features a 6.53-inches FHD+ LCD LTPS Dotch display which utilizes a hole-punched design to house a 16 megapixels selfie camera. The front display of all TCL’s 10-series phones are supported by TCL’s NXTVISION technology that does real-time SDR to HDR processing.
Flipping the device over, you will see an unique horizontal module which houses four camera sensors including a 48 megapixels main shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as 2 megapixels depth sensor. Besides that, there is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
Under the hood, the TCL 10L is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage space. The device also supports microSD card for further memory expansion if necessary.
A hefty 4,000mAh battery will be available to keep its lights on for a decent amount of time. Sad to say, fast-charging support is absent on the TCL 10L. On the software-side, the device will run on the custom TCL UI based on the latest Android 10 OS.
The device will be offered in two different colorways including Arctic White and Mariana Blue. It is priced at 249 Euro in the European markets, and US$249 in the North American markets.
TCL 10 5G Specifications & Pricing
Unlike the TCL 10L, the TCL 10 5G is the sole 5G-ready smartphone in the entire lineup. It will maintain the same 6.53-inches FHD+ LCD LTPS Dotch display and a 16 megapixels selfie camera.
Over at the back, the TCL 10 5G will see some improvements to it’s rear cameras. This time round, it’s quad-camera setup will include an upgraded 64 megapixels main shooter which will be assisted by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera and finally a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
The TCL 10 5G is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 765 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage space which is further expandable by up to 1TB via a micoSD card.
To keep its lights on, there will be a slightly larger 4,500mAh battery which supports 18W Quick Charge 3.0 which can bring the device from 0 to 50% within a short span of just 35 minutes.
A total of two color options including Chrome Blue and Mercury Gray are available for users to choose from. The device will be priced at 399 Euros in the European markets.
TCL 10 Pro Specifications & Pricing
Although the TCL 10 Pro doesn’t come with 5G support, but its actually the highest-end model among the trio. The TCL 10 Pro come with a 6.47-inches FHD+ AMOLED curved display which has a buffed up 24 megapixels selfie camera in its hole-punched compartment. It is in fact the only smartphone to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
As expected, the TCL 10 Pro has the most powerful rear cameras within the lineup as well. Its quad-camera setup includes a 64 megapixels main shooter, 16 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
In terms of internals, the device will be driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC alongside 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage space which can be further expanded by a microSD card.
The TCL 10 Pro will be fueled by the same 4,500mAh battery as the TCL 10 5G, which also support Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
For those who’re interested, the device will be available in both Forest Mist Green and Ember Gray colorways. It will command a hefty price tag of 449 Euro in the European markets, and US$449 in the North American markets.
