Today, Samsung has introduced two new devices including the Samsung Galaxy A21 and Galaxy A71 5G into their renowned A-series lineup. These are two interesting devices which will be targeted at two different groups of users.
Samsung Galaxy A21 Specifications
Let’s begin with the Samsung Galaxy A21. This will be an entry-level smartphone which carries a reasonable price tag of US$249.99 in the U.S. market.
The Samsung Galaxy A21 features a 6.5-inches HD+ Infinity-O display which packs a 13 megapixels selfie camera on its hole-punched compartment on the top-left corner.
Over at the back, there is a pill-shaped camera module that play hosts to a quad-camera setup comprising of a 16 megapixels main shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the device is driven by an unspecified octa-core SoC which will be coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage space which is further expandable by up to 512GB via a microSD card.
To keep its lights on, there will be a decent 4,000mAh battery which supports 15W fast-charging.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G Specifications
As its name suggests, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G is essentially the 5G version of the current Galaxy A71 4G. As such, it will maintain the same design language and pretty much the same specs as well.
The Galaxy A71 5G touts a 6.7-inches Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O Display which has a FHD+ screen resolution. It’s central hole-punched display is home to an impressive 32 megapixels selfie camera.
At the back of the device, there will be a rectangular camera module that has a total of four camera sensors. This include a 64 megapixels main shooter, 12 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Although Samsung didn’t reveal the underlying SoC, but it is likely to be the Snapdragon 765 platform. This will be doubled up with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage which supports memory expansion of up to 1TB via a microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G is also fueled by a massive 4,500mAh battery which supports up to 25W fast-charging. A total of three colorways including Prism Cube Black, Prism Cube Silver and Prism Cube Blue are available for the device.
In terms of pricing, the Galaxy A71 is priced at US$599.99 in the U.S. market.
