Upcoming Lenovo Legion smartphone will support 90W fast-charging

Lenovo has already confirmed that the company will soon be launching the company’s latest gaming-centric smartphone under its Legion sub-brand. This will be an exciting smartphone which will prove to be a worthy competitor to the current Black Shark 3 Pro and Nubia Red Magic 5G.

Today, the company had confirmed that this highly-anticipated smartphone will feature an incredible 90W fast-charging support. This will be way faster than the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging on the upcoming OPPO Ace2.

Bearing in mind that the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging is capable of delivering a full charge for a 4,260mAh battery within 38 minutes, it isn’t hard to imagine that Lenovo’s 90W fast-charging could deliver a full charge under 30 minutes.

Besides that, it was previously confirmed that the new Legion smartphone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 platform. As such, it will be able to support 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.

Although no details were given, but Lenovo had also hinted that the upcoming Legion smartphone will be equipped with a revolutionary cooling technology under the hood as well.

Similar to most other gaming flagship phones, the device is also expected to feature the latest LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0/ 3.1 flash storage, high screen refresh rate and touch sampling rate.
