Alleged Realme X50 Youth Edition has been certified by TENAA

An upcoming Realme smartphone carrying the model number RMX2142 has been certified by the Chinese TENAA authority. This device, according to reports, is expected to be the upcoming Realme X50 Youth Edition or Realme X50 Lite in the global market.

As usual, the device’s key specs and real life images had been published on TENAA’s database as well. Seen from the images above, the design of the handset shows a close resemblance to that of the current Realme X50 on both its front and back panel.

According to its TENAA database, the upcoming Realme X50 Lite is expected to tout a 6.57-inches LCD panel with FHD+ screen resolution. The dual hole-punched compartment on its front panel houses a pair selfie cameras consisting of a 16 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor. The device has an overall footprint measuring 163.8×75.8×8.9mm and weighs approximately 192 grams.

Over at the back, the device carries a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor will also be present on the device as well.

Under the hood, the Realme X50 Lite is expected to be driven by a 2.4GHz octa-core SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. This device will also be able to support 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.

To keep its lights on, there will be a hefty 4,100mAh battery which is reportedly able to support up to 30W fast-charging. Last but not the least, the device will be offered in two different colorways including White and Blue.
