Redmi Pad 5G Key Specifications Poster Appears in Leaked Poster

The Redmi sub-brand of Xiaomi is gradually expanding its product portfolio. Recently, it ventured into launching Redmi Band and Redmi TV. A leaked poster that has surfaced on Weibo revealed the existence of the Redmi Pad 5G tablet. The poster has also carried the key specifications of the device.

The poster showcases the front design of the Redmi Pad 5G. The exact screen size of the device is not known yet. Judging from the image, it appears that device could be sporting an 8-inch display. The device has slim side bezels. The upper and lower bezels are slightly thick. A camera can be seen in the top bezel of the device. The device could be arriving in at least two color variants such as black and white.

The key features mentioned on the poster reveals that the Redmi Pad 5G will come with support for 90Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 765G processor will be powering the device which will enable dual-mode 5G connectivity.

The Redmi Pad 5G tablet will be equipped with a specially designed MIUI version for tablets. The rear side of the tablet will have an AI powered 48-megapixel lens for photography and it is flanked with super linear quad speakers. The battery size of the tablet is not mentioned. However, it will be equipped with 30W flash charge technology. Lastly, the poster reveals that the device will be priced at 1,999 Yuan ($282).

Xiaomi will be holding a launch event on April 27 in China to announce the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G and the all new MIUI 12. Redmi is yet to confirm on the existence, but rumors claim that the Redmi Pad 5G will also go official on April 27. Readers are advised to take the report with a grain of salt and wait for the company to release some official information on the Redmi Pad 5G.
