While most of the major smartphone makers seem to favor more towards the Snapdragon 765 chipset for their premium mid-ranger offerings, but the Dimensity 1000 chip had achieved a higher performance score on various benchmarking platform including AnTuTu.
In fact, we’d seen quite a number of prominent Snapdragon 765-fueled smartphones recently including the Motorola Edge and Nokia 8.3. The upcoming LG Velvet is also another exciting smartphone which will run on the same Snapdragon 765 series chip.
It remains to be seen whether OnePlus Z has what it takes in other aspects to compete with all these premium mid-rangers which are currently cloaking crowded smartphone market.
