Lenovo has finally released an official confirmation on the arrival of the highly anticipated Lenovo Legion gaming phone. The company has been teasing the arrival of the gaming smartphone since December 2019. It is speculated that it could be the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 865+ mobile platform.
Lenovo’s new Weibo post only confirms that the Legion Gaming phone will debut next month. It does not reveal the exact launch date. Probably, a confirmation on it will arrive later this month.
One of the major attractions of the Legion gaming phone is that it touted to arrive with support for 90W fast charging. However, the 3C listing of the phone had revealed that it could be coming with a 45W fast charger. For conveniently charging the device while playing games, the phone is expected to offer users with dual USB-C ports.
The OLED panel of the Legion gaming phone is expected to support up to 144Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 270Hz. The rear side of the device may sport a 64-megapixel + 16-megapixel dual-camera system.
The handset is expected to come with a 20-megapixel side-mounted pop-up selfie camera. It will come with Android 10 OS and a gaming-grade Legion UI. Also, it is expected to arrive with some other features like LPDDR5, UFS 3.0, 4,000mAh battery. advanced liquid cooling technology, dual speakers, and linear motor.
