Redmi is rumored to be working on entry-level phones for China. A reliable tipster from China has shared some vital information on these two smartphones. These phones are expected to priced lower than the Redmi 10X 4G that is selling with a starting price of 999 Yuan ($141) in the home market.
The leakster has revealed that Redmi will be launching two new smartphones. He has claimed that both phones will be positioned lower than the Redmi 10X 4G.
The mysterious phones are rumored to be equipped with MediaTek MT6969T and MT6769V/CT processors. These processors are said to belong to the Helio G8X series.
The exact names of the above-mentioned devices are not known. It remains to be seen whether these devices could be debuting as the Redmi 9 series phones. The reason behind it is that the Redmi 9 has recently received approval from the TENAA authority of China.
The Redmi 9 for China has the same specs as the global variant that debuted in Spain recently. The only major difference is China is expected to receive the higher 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage version of the phone.
The Redmi 9 has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD HD+ resolution and it is powered by Helio G80 SoC. The MIUI 12 based Android 10 OS runs on the device. The back panel of the device is fitted with a 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera setup. It has a front camera of 8-megapixel.
