Honor Pad 6 certified; launch could be near

After launching the much anticipated Honor ViewPad 6 tablet last month, it seems like Honor will soon be bringing a slightly more affordable tablet to the market soon.

This tablet, known as Honor Pad 6, had already been certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) which hints on its imminent launch. Although there isn’t much information pertaining to this tablet, but it is likely to be the successor of last year’s Honor Pad 5.

Honor Pad 5 10″

Currently, the Honor Pad 5 is available in two different models – Honor Pad 5 8″ and Honor Pad 5 10.1″ – which are driven by the Kirin 710 and Kirin 659 SoC respectively.

With that in mind, it is likely that the Honor Pad 6 will continue to be marketed as an affordable mid-ranger tablet which is positioned below the newly announced Honor ViewPad 6.

Based on the pricing of the Honor Pad 5 tablets, we can foresee that the upcoming Honor Pad 6 could be priced between US$200 to US$300.
