Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G Bluetooth SIG Certified

One of the smartphones that Samsung is expected to debut on Aug. 5 is the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. The clamshell phone with a foldable screen will be the 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip handset that debuted in February this year. Ahead of the launch, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has received approval from the Bluetooth SIG authority.

Multiple model numbers of what appears to be country variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has appeared on the database of Bluetooth SIG. The certification platform has approved SM-F707U, SM-F707W, SM-F707U1, SM-F7070, SM-F707N, and SM-F707B. The Bluetooth SIG appearance only confirms that the phone supports Bluetooth 5.0.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip that debuted earlier this year came with Snapdragon 855+ and lack 5G capabilities. Now that 5G is the need of the hour, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is arriving with Snapdragon 865 SoC.  

The SM-F707B variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G was recently spotted on Geekbench 5 with a single-core score of 970 and a multi-core score of 3220. The listing revealed that the phone is powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC and 8 GB of RAM and it runs on Android 10 OS.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is believed to be equipped with a dual-part battery like its predecessor model. The 3C appearances of its batteries revealed that its dual-part battery will have a combined size of 3,300mAh. The device will be shipping with a 15W charger. It is likely to arrive in a new brown color.
