Motorola has released press invite for a July 7th launch event where the company is tipped to announce the much awaited Motorola Edge Lite mid-ranger. As its name suggests, the Motorola Edge Lite will be a toned down version of the current Motorola Edge and Edge+ which were launched back in April this year.
In terms of its specs, a recent leak had revealed that the Motorola Edge Lite will sport a 6.7-inches FHD+ OLED display with a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate. This time round, the front display is tipped to feature a dual hole-punched display which houses a pair of 8 megapixels main snapper and a 2 megapixels depth helper.
At the back, the Motorola Edge Lite has a quad-cameras system consisting of a 48 megapixels Samsung S5KGM1 main camera. This will be assisted by 3 other cameras including a 16 megapixels sensor, 8 megapixels sensor, as well as 5 megapixels sensor. While the identity of these sensors ain’t specified, but they are likely to be an ultra-wide lens, telephoto lens and a depth/ macro camera.
Just like the current Motorola Edge, the upcoming Edge Lite will also be driven by the 5G-ready Snapdragon 765 platform alongside 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage in its memory department.
To keep its lights on, the Motorola Edge Lite will arrive with a generous 4,700mAh battery which supports 18W TurboPower charging. It will be available in a total of four different colorways including Prussian, Surfing Blue, Azury and Soft White.
