Redmi is reportedly working on the launch of Redmi Note 10 series in China. Yesterday, a tipster revealed that the M2007J22C phone that received approval from the State Radio Regulation Certification (SRRC) authority. This phone is believed to be arriving in the Chinese markets as Redmi Note 10. Today, the same tipster took to Weibo to reveal that the series will be powered by two Dimensity chipsets.
According to the tipster, the Redmi Note 10 series will be driven by the MediaTek MT6853V/TNZA and MT6875 chipsets. These model numbers belong to the Dimensity 720 and Dimensity 820 5G. The Redmi Note 10 series may go official either in this month or early October.
Last month, the Redmi Note 10 was spotted in the ranking list of AI Benchmarks. It revealed that the Note 10 is powered by Dimensity 820 chipset. The listing also revealed that the phone is equipped with 8 GB of RAM.
It remains to be seen with what moniker the Dimensity 720 powered Redmi phone will be arriving in the Chinese market. There is a possibility that it could be called Redmi 10 as the Note 10 has Dimensity 820. Hopefully, newer reports will spill more information the Redmi Note 10 series. A leaked shot that appeared in the previous month suggested that it could be the Redmi Note 10 smartphone.
The Note 10 will be the first Note 10 series phone to arrive with 5G connectivity. It will be replacing the Redmi Note 8 series that debuted in China last year. While the company launched the Redmi Note 9 series in India earlier this year, the company skipped its launch in the home market mainly because it supported only 4G networks.
