Huawei Enjoy 20 & 20 Plus goes official with Dimensity 720 SoC

Huawei has officially announced the Huawei Enjoy 20 and Enjoy 20 Plus smartphones in the Chinese market today to further expand the company’s 5G portfolio as the company faced increasingly steep competition from other Chinese smartphone makers.

In this week alone, a number of notable 5G mid-ranger including the Realme V3 and Realme X7 series had already been launched.

Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus

As its name suggests, the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus will be the higher-end model among the two. The device features an unblemished, 6.63-inches FHD+ LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate. This time round, the device also flaunts a motorized pop-up module which houses a 16 megapixels selfie camera.

Over at the back, the device has a oreo-style triple camera setup comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. Needless to say, the design of its rear camera housing remind us of the current Mate 30 Pro.

Under the hood, the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus will be powered by a 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC which will be assisted by up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. To keep its light on, the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus will be fitted with a respectable 4,200mAh battery with 40W fast-charging support.

For those who’re interested, the Enjoy 20 Plus will be available in four different colorways including Black, Green, Silver, as well as as well as Blue-Pink Gradient.

In the Chinese market, it will be priced at 2,299 Yuan (US$336) and 2,499 Yuan (US$366) respectively for its 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models.

Coming to the Huawei Enjoy 20, the device will feature a dewdrop-notch display at the front which is build around a 6.6-inches LCD display with HD+ screen resolution. It comes with a dewdrop-notch design to accommodate its 8 megapixels selfie camera.

Huawei Enjoy 20 Colors

At the back, the Huawei Enjoy 20 has a squarish camera housing which play host to a triple camera setup consisting of a 13 megapixels primary shooter, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.

Just like the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro, the vanilla model will also be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset which will be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Other than that, the device will also be helmed by a massive 5,000mAh battery. 

There will be four different color options available to choose from including Black, Green, Gold, as well as Blue-Pink Gradient. In terms of pricing, the Huawei Enjoy 20 will be priced at 1,699 Yuan (US$249) and 1,899 Yuan (US$278) respectively for its 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB models.
