The OnePlus 8T had already been confirmed to launch on October 14th next month. Previously, we’d already seen the renders of the device and learned pretty much about its purported specs. Right now, another mystery of the device seems to be solved as well – it’s alleged pricing in the European markets.
You guys choose it, I will do it. So here’s my “ExClUsIvE” OnePlus 8T leak in Europe:
8/128: 799€
12/256: 899€
Even though I still have some doubts but if we look at the 7T 8/128 last year was 100€ cheaper than the 7 Pro 8/128, this price leak makes some sense. Also my… https://t.co/inVnykOSin— Chun (@chunvn8888) September 21, 2020
According to a credible Vietnamese leaker, the upcoming OnePlus 8T is expected to cost €799 (US$940) for its 8GB+128GB trim and €899 (US$1,060) for the higher-end model with 12GB+256GB configuration. That’s a tad higher than the current OnePlus 7T which was launched with a starting price of €599 (US$705) last year.
Of course, the reason for the price hike can well be justified by the higher-end technologies used in the upcoming OnePlus 8T. Based on the information revealed so far, we can expect the device to come with a 6.55-inches FHD+ AMOLED display which boasts a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
In the camera department, there will be a quad camera system at the back consisting of a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 16 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels portrait lens. This will be rounded up by a 32 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 8T is said to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset which also brings 5G connectivity to the device. To keep its light on, there is also a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 65W Warp charging support.
Besides the OnePlus 8T, the company is also currently prepping another mid-ranger smartphone known as the OnePlus Nord N10.
