Purported Moto G10 Play CAD Renders Appear; Launch Could be Nearing

Motorola has recently launch the Moto G9 series of smartphones in various markets across the world and the company now seems to be working on the upcoming G10 lineup. Popular tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) has shared the CAD renders of an upcoming Moto G series phone. He does not know the exact name of the device, but he is of the view that it could be the successor to the Moto G9 Play that arrived in Europe in the recent months.

Moto G10 Play CAD Renders

The Moto G9 Play that Europe received was a rebranded version of the Moto G9 that debuted in India. The CAD renders reveal that the successor model will be arriving with an improved design.

The Moto G9 Play came with a waterdrop notch display, but the successor model is seen sporting a punch-hole display. The G9 Play sported a traditional rear-facing fingerprint scanner. The biometric recognition feature is now moved to the right edge of the device.

Alleged Moto G10 Play_

The alleged Moto G10 Play has a camera module similar to the Moto G9 Play. Like the predecessor model, it has three cameras and an LED with a slightly change in the arrangement. A 3.5mm audio jack is at the topside of the phone and its bottom is populated with a microphone, a USB-C slot, and an external speaker.

The leakster revealed that the smartphone measures 165.3 x 75.4 x 9.2mm and it houses a 6.5-inch display. He claimed that the XT2117 Motorola phone that has been spotted recently at FCC and TUV Rheinland authorities is the purported G10 Play. The TUV listing has revealed that the phone may come with a 4,850mAh rated battery and 20W fast charging support.
