Samsung has officially announced a pair of budget-centric smartphones known as the Samsung Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s in the European market.
Samsung Galaxy A12
Starting with the higher-end model, we have the Galaxy A12 which will be succeeding the current Galaxy A11. This device features a 6.5-inches Infinity-V TFT display that comes with a HD+ screen resolution.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an unspecified octa-core chipset with processing cores clocked at 1.8GHz and 2.3GHz. In the memory department, it features up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
For photography, the Galaxy A12 has a quad camera system comprising of a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be rounded out by an 8 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
To keep its lights on, there will be a massive 5,000mAh battery that comes with 15W fast-charging support. For those who’re interested, the device is offered in four different colorways including Black, Blue, White and Red.
In the European market, pricing for the device will start at 179 Euros (US$213).
Samsung Galaxy A02s
Coming to the more affordable Galaxy A02s, the device will be retaining the same 6.5-inches Infinity-V TFT display with HD+ screen resolution.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by a slightly watered-down chip with processing cores clocked at 1.8GHz. On top of that, it also have 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that’s also expandable via a microSD card.
In the camera department, the Galaxy A02s has three cameras at the back including a 13 megapixels primary shooter, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. Other than that, there’s also a 5 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
Just like its Galaxy A21 counterpart, the Galaxy A02s shares the same 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging as well. Color-wise, the device will be available in both Black and White.
As for pricing, the Galaxy A02s will carry a starting price of 150 Euros (US$178) in the European market.
