ZTE has officially announced a new variant for the company’s renowned ZTE Axon 20 5G which will be arriving with a premium leather-like back panel instead of the usual glass back found among its standard models.
This device which was launched as the ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition, will be sharing the same specs as the standard model other than the difference in their external outlook and a higher RAM capacity.
Starting with the front, ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition arrives with an unblemished 6.92-inches OLED display with FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate.
The device is the first in the world to feature a headline-grabbing, 32 megapixels under-display camera which eliminates the need for an unsightly notches or hole-punches on the front display.
On the flip-side, the ZTE Axon 20 5G Extreme Edition comes with a rectangular camera housing which play host to a quad-cameras system alongside a LED flash. These cameras include a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro shooter, as well as a 2 megapixels depth helper.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G chipset coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Keeping its lights on is none other than a respectable 4,220mAh battery that carries support for 30W fast-charging. As usual, it will run on the custom MiFavor 10.5 based on Android 10 OS.
Sad to say, the company has yet to announce the official availability and pricing of the ZTE Axon 5G Extreme Edition.
