Vivo X50e 5G with Snapdragon 765G lands in Singapore

The Vivo X50e 5G which was first launched in the Taiwanese market is now officially launched in the local market and will be available for purchase starting December 19th at an affordable price of S$599.

In terms of design, the Vivo X50e 5G shares a close resemblance to the Vivo V17 smartphone which was announced earlier this year. It will however, come with a set of more advanced specs than the latter.

At the front, the Vivo X50e 5G features 6.44-inches FHD+ AMOLED display that dons a dewdrop-notch design to accommodate its 32 megapixels (f/2.0 aperture) selfie camera. On top of that, there’ll be an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.

Over on its back panel, you will be greeted by an unique diamond-shape camera housing that brings along a quad camera system. These cameras include a 48 megapixels (f/1.79 aperture) primary shooter, 13 megapixels (f/2.46 aperture) telephoto lens, 8 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) macro camera.

Powering the device will be an octa-core Snapdragon 765G chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage space which is further expandable via a microSD card. Since its a 5G-ready smartphone, its also a good alternative over the Vivo X50 Pro 5G (Review) for those who’re looking for a more affordable 5G device.

To keep its lights on, the Vivo X50e 5G is backed by a respectable 4,350mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. Aside from that, some other notable features also include a 3.5mm headphone jack and its support for NFC connectivity.

For those who’re interested, the Vivo X50e 5G will be available at all authorised retailers including M1, Singtel and StarHub, vivo official stores on Lazada, Qoo10 and Shopee as well as vivo standalone stores. Early bird will also be entitled to a free vivo neckband headphones and casing worth S$99, available while stocks last.
