Last week, a new handset named the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite received certification from the Federal Communications Commissions (FCC). The FCC listing revealed some of the key details of the device. Fresh information shared by GizmoChina states that Xiaomi will be announcing the Mi 11 Lite at the global launch event of the Xiaomi Mi 11.
The report has no details on the launch timeframe or specifications of the Mi 11 Lite. In the previous, a Vietnamese tipster claimed that it is one of the nine Xiaomi phones that is expected to launch in Q1 2021.
Also, a YouTuber from Vietnam released a video which talks about the specs and design of the upcoming Mi 11 Lite. In the video, he mentioned that the smartphone will be sold in the country in March. Hence, it appears that the company may hold the Mi 11 global launch event in the next few weeks.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite specifications
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite’s FCC appearance revealed that it could be arriving in two options such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It also revealed other features such as 33W fast charging enabled 4,150mAh rated battery, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, and MIUI 12.
Other reports have suggested that the Mi 11 Lite could be coming with a punch-hole display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and it could be powered by the Snapdragon 732G mobile platform. It may sport a triple camera system featuring a 64-megapixe main camera, an 8-megapixel secondary shooter, and a 5-megapixel third sensor.
Apart from the FCC authority, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has also approved the Mi 11 Lite, which indicates that it could also be landing in India.
