After a relatively long wait, Xiaomi has finally confirmed that the company will be holding a global launch event for the highly-anticipated Xiaomi Mi 11 on February 8th next month.
So far, the Xiaomi Mi 11 had achieved great success in the Chinese market after it was made official last month. During its debut sale in the home market, more than 350,000 units were sold within the first 5 minutes. Subsequently, the device also crossed the one million mark within a short span of just three weeks.
For those who do not know, the Xiaomi Mi 11 is offered in two variants in the Chinese market with one having a bundled charger and another one without. Both variants however, were retailing at a similar price tag.
Although most consumers didn’t seem to welcome the idea of ditching an in-box charger, but there were actually more than 20,000 customers who’re willing to purchase the Mi 11 without a bundled charger for environmental causes.
As of now, there’s no official confirmation whether the Xiaomi Mi 11 will be launched with or without an accompanying charger and that’s probably something most of us will be looking up for during the launch event.
Besides the Mi 11, Xiaomi will also announced the latest MIUI 12.5 during the same launch event.
