Samsung Galaxy F62’s Launch Date is February 15

The support page of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F62 smartphone was spotted at Samsung India’s website recently. A listing of the Galaxy F62 emerged at Flipkart on Saturday to reveal its rear design. These listings suggested that the phone may go official soon in the country. The online retailer has now updated the landing page of the device, which now states that the Galaxy F62 will be announced at 12 PM (local time) on Feb. 12.

The Galaxy F62’s microsite on Flipkart reveals that it is powered by the Exynos 9825 chipset. Samsung previously used the SoC to power the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ flagship phones in 2019. Hence, the Galaxy F62 is expected to offer flagship-level performance.

As far as the design of the phone concerned, its display features a top-centre positioned selfie camera cutout. Rumors are rife that it is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen that produces a Full HD+ resolution. While it was speculated to feature an in-screen fingerprint scanner, it seems that the company has settled for a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The handset is said to be equipped with a front camera of 32-megapixel.
