After several months of hiatus, Taiwanese smartphone maker is finally back with a new budget-centric smartphone known as the HTC Wildfire E Lite which is already available for purchase in Russia and South Africa.
The HTC Wildfire E Lite is built around a 5.45-inches LCD display that offers a decent HD+ screen resolution as well as an 18:9 tall aspect ratio. Just like the Wildfire E, the new Wildfire E Lite also sports a noticeable bezel which houses a 5 megapixels selfie camera and a front-firing speaker.
Over at the back, the device features a horizontally-aligned dual-camera setup consisting of an 8 megapixels primary shooter and a VGA depth helper. The device comes with an auto-HDR feature and is able to support up to 4x digital zoom.
Under the hood, the HTC Wildfire E Lite is powered by an entry-level MediaTek Helio A20 chipset which will be paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep its lights on, the device relies on a 3,000mAh battery that should be capable of supporting hours of usage on the go. Other than that, it also boot on the lightweight Android 10 (Go Edition).
In terms of pricing, the HTC Wildfire E Lite is priced at RUB 7,790 (US$104) in Russia and ZAR 1,549 (US$103) in South Africa.
