A mysterious Realme phone has received certification from the TENAA certification platform of China. The listing of the device has revealed some of its key specifications and images.
As can be seen in the images, the Realme RMX3161 has a punch-hole placed at the top-left corner of the screen. The device is fitted with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. This indicates that the upcoming Realme phone could be equipped with an LCD screen. TENAA states that the Realme RMX3161 has a 6.5-inch display and it measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.8mm.
The rear shell of the phone has a large-sized camera housing. It seems to feature a quad-camera setup and an LED flash. There is no information on the camera sensors of the device. The left edge of the device has a volume rocker.
The Realme RMX3161 will come preinstalled with the latest Android 11 OS and Realme UI. It will be backed by a 4,880mAh rated battery. The supported charging speeds of the device are not known yet. The TENAA listing also confirms that it carries support for 5G connectivity.
In related news, Realme is expected to announce the Realme Race flagship phone in China soon. It is speculated that the Snapdragon 888 SoC powered handset could be arriving in the market with the Realme GT moniker. Earlier this week, its images were spotted at TENAA.
A couple of other Realme phones are also waiting in the pipeline to go official. Recently, a Realme RMX3085 phone with Helio G95 and 8 GB of RAM was spotted at Geekbench. In addition, Realme RMX3115 / RMX3116 phones were recently spotted at China’s 3C certification platform. The listings revealed that both devices will carry support for 65W rapid charging.
