Realme will be taking off covers from the Realme GT 5G on March 4 in China and it will be showcased at MWC Shanghai. Ahead of the launch is gradually some of the key features of the handset. Today, Realme CMO shared an image to reveal that Chinese actor and singer Yang Mi will be endorsing the Realme GT 5G. In addition, the released poster showcases the appearance of the smartphone for the first time.
The images of the Realme GT were first revealed through its TENAA certification. It was found that the phone is equipped with a punch-hole display and its back panel has a rectangle-shaped camera module. A GT logo was also found on the backside of the device.
The official poster released today reveals that the camera housing of the Realme GT has three cameras. A closer look at the setup suggests that it is equipped with a 64-megapixel primary shooter.
It was confirmed in December that the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform will be powering the Realme GT 5G. Over the weekend, the company revealed that the smartphone scored 767,137 at AnTuTu benchmarks. AnTuTu also shared a screenshot of the benchmark listing of the Realme GT 5G. Interestingly, the device recorded a comparatively lower score of 688,802.
The AnTuTu listing revealed that the device has a 120Hz refresh rate supporting display, 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and Android 11 OS. Its TENAA appearance did not reveal any information on its specs. However, its 3C listing suggested that it may ship with a 65W fast charger. There are speculations that there could be an advanced version of the phone that features a 160Hz screen and 125W UltraDart fast charging technology.
