ZTE Axon S30 Pro’s design fully revealed; will not feature an in-display selfie camera

ZTE will be launching the new Axon S series smartphones, dubbed as the ZTE Axon S30 series on March 30th. Based on earlier reports, we are likely to see at least two devices, including the Axon S30 and Axon S30 Pro during the upcoming event.

Prior to its launch, the company had already revealed quite a fair bit of details pertaining to its premium Axon S30 Pro model, especially its rear camera system which the company claimed will be arriving with three 64 megapixels cameras in its quad-camera system.

Although no further details were given regarding each of the individual cameras, but we believe they are likely to be a wide-angle camera, ultra-wide-angle camera and possibly a telephoto camera.

Previously, there were rumors that this device could once again be arriving with an in-display selfie camera just like what we first saw from last year’s ZTE Axon 20 5G. However, these rumors had been proven to be falsehood after ZTE released a series of promo posters which confirmed that the device will actually be arriving with a central hole-punch display.

Apart from all these details, the company had also confirmed that the Axon S30 Pro will be arriving with an OLED display which offers a buttery smooth 144Hz screen refresh rate. Likewise, the device will also bring along a 44 megapixels selfie camera just like the recently announced Vivo S9.

On top of that, the device is also equipped with a respectable 4,200mAh battery with 55W fast-charging support. Most importantly, its also the first smartphone to run on the company’s latest MyOS 11 (based on Android 11) custom UI.
