If you’re planning to get yourself a HTC smartphone in the next couple of weeks, then we’ve a piece of good news for you! HTC has confirmed on their website that they will be providing a free replacement of screen for select devices purchased on or after 18th February. That means if you happen to drop your HTC smartphone ( touch wood! ) and crack its screen, the Taiwanese company will be there to fix it for you free – but only for once of course. The only condition is that your device must be less than 6 months old from the day of purchase.
This is the latest addition to their HTC Advantage scheme to lure customers to their side. Besides the free replacement of screen, HTC will also be giving up to 50GB of free Google Drive storage and provide up to 2 years worth of update supports under the similar scheme. Currently, HTC Advantage is available only to the HTC One, HTC One Mini as well as the HTC One Max. Let’s hope HTC allow more devices to enjoy these perks!
