Realme Q3 Pro to Arrive with 120Hz Display & Dimensity 1100 chipset

Realme will be announcing the Realme Q3 series of smartphones on Thursday in China. Ahead of the launch, the company is busy confirming some of the key features of the lineup. Today, it revealed that the Q3 series will feature the Dimensity 1100 chipset.

To recollect, the Dimensity 1100 is an 6nm chipset, which was alongside the more powerful Dimensity 1200 SoC earlier this year. Realme has already launched the Realme GT Neo phone with Dimensity 1200, and now its gearing up to launch the first Dimensity 1100 SoC powered phone.

The Realme Q3 series is expected to include around two or three phones. Among them include the Realme Q3 Pro which has been confirmed to feature a Dimensity 1100 chipset, as well as support for a 120Hz screen refresh rate.

Rumors are rife that the RMX2205 smartphone that was recently certified by China’s TENAA telecom authority could be the upcoming Realme Q3 Pro. The TENAA appearance revealed that it has a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 4,500mAh battery, and Android 11 OS.

The Q3 Pro has a slim profile of 8.4mm and it houses a triple camera system led by a 64-megapixel lens. The Geekbench listing of the phone revealed that it could be coming with 8 GB of RAM. It is also expected to arrive with support for 65W rapid charging.

Last year’s Realme Q2 series included Realme Q2i, Realme Q2, and Realme Q2 Pro phones. The company is expected to announce the Realme Q3 alongside the Q3 Pro, but there is no confirmation on the successor model for the Q2i.
