Following the launch of the Sony Xperia Mark 3 series smartphones last month, Sony will soon be launching a new budget-centric smartphone known as the Xperia Ace II. This device has now appeared on Google Play Console along with some of it’s key specs.
According to it’s listing, the upcoming Sony Xperia Ace II will be featuring a HD+ display upfront that’s likely to be a LCD panel. Similarly, the phone is also listed with MediaTek’s Helio P35 chipset, 4GB RAM, as well as Android 11 OS.
In terms of design, we’d seen from earlier CAD-based renderings that the Xperia Ace II will be arriving with a dewdrop-notch design upfront which is said to measure around 5.5” diagonally.
Around the back of the phone, there’s an elongated camera island with a dual-camera setup and a LED flash. The dual-camera system is said to be lead by a 13 megapixels main camera which will be paired with another auxiliary camera. As for it’s selfie camera, it’s expected to be an 8 megapixels shooter.
Other than that, you also get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dedicated shutter button (for clicking images), as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
