iQOO announced the iQOO Neo5 smartphone in March this year in China. Today, the company took to Weibo to confirm that it will be launching the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition on May 24 in the home market.
A closer look at the poster of the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition reveals that its screen features a punch-hole at the top-right corner. The poster has no other information on the specs of the device. It appears that the company will be releasing more teasers before announcing in the coming week.
It is widely believed that the Vivo V2118A smartphone recently spotted at the Google Play Console and TENAA certification site could be arriving as the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition in the Chinese market. It’s TENAA listing revealed that the phone has a 6.57-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. Rumors are rife that the phone supports a 144Hz refresh rate.
Similarly, it also claimed that the phone may arrive with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage in the home market. More information was also revealed through the Google Play Console listing which confirmed that the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset.
The 4,430Ah rated battery of the Vivo V2118A is expected to carry support for 44W rapid charging. The phone boots on Android 11 OS and it features a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security. The device measures 163.97 x 75.53 x 8.93mm and weighs 194.78 grams. It likely to be priced under 1,999 Yuan ($310) in China.
