Yesterday, iQOO confirmed that it will be unleashing a new smartphone called the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition on March 24 in China. A landing page of the phone, which confirms some of the key features has gone live on Vivo China’s website. The official listing has also revealed the design of the smartphone.
In terms of design, the poster which confirmed the launch date of the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition yesterday revealed that its display has a selfie camera punch-hole at the top-right corner. The rear shell of the phone has a vertical camera system that includes an LED flash at the top followed by a triple camera system.
The power button placed on the right edge of the phone is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The handset will be available in at least two colors such as black and white. The official listing also reveals that the sales of the smartphone will commence on June 1 in China.
Coming to the specs, iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, which works at 3.2GHz. The iQOO Neo5 smartphone that debuted earlier this year in China also featured the same chip. The Chinese manufacturer also revealed that the Vitality Edition phone will come with UFS 3.1 storage.
Reports have revealed that the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition might be the Vivo V2118A smartphone that was recently approved by China’s TENAA telecom authority. The TENAA listing revealed that it has a 6.57-inch FHD+ screen, a 4,430mAh rated battery, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of native storage, and Android 11 OS.
For photography, it may arrive with a front camera of 16-megapixel and a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system. The 3C listing of the phone revealed that it may carry support for 44W rapid charging.
