Nubia Z30 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 888 & 120W fast-charging

During a high profile launch event held in China, Nubia has finally announced the brand new Nubia Z30 Pro flagship – nearly two years after the company launched the Nubia Z20 back in late 2019.

As expected, the Nubia Z30 Pro is largely based on the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra flagship with fresh paint jobs on the outside as well as several noteworthy upgrades to it’s internals.

Starting with the front, the Nubia Z30 Pro dons an impressive 6.67” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, smooth 144Hz screen refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 10-bit color depth and HDR10+ support. Furthermore, you also a 16 megapixels selfie camera as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Around the back of the phone, there’s a huge rectangular camera bump which brings along a powerful quad-camera system headlined by a trio of 64 megapixels cameras for wide, ultra-wide and portrait shots. This will be rounded out by an 8 megapixels periscope camera which offers up to 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom.

Under the hood, the Nubia Z30 Pro is powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset which will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB onboard storage. The phone draws power from a respectable 4,200mAh battery topped with 120W fast-charging that’s capable of delivering a full charge in just 15 minutes.

In the Chinese market, the Nubia Z30 Pro is priced at 4,999 Yuan (US$777), 5,399 Yuan (US$839) and 5,999 Yuan (US$932) respectively for it’s 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB variants.
