Black Shark 4 Pro retains top spot on AnTuTu for the month of May

Another month had ended and now AnTuTu is finally back with the list of top 10 best performing flagship phones for the month of May. This time round, there isn’t much changes to the top 10 list as the majority of them had already appeared in last month’s ranking.

As usual, the data source of this ranking was culminated from AnTuTu Benchmark V9 from May 1st to 31st. It’s worth noting that the average score was calculated from more than 1,000 devices, and may continue to change as more devices are being benchmarked.

For the month of May, the Black Shark 4 Pro retains the top spot for the third consecutive month. The device attains an impressive score of 830,022 points and is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 888 mobile platform just like any of the devices within the top 10 list.

In the memory department, it features 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB (UFS 3.1 + SSD disk array system). According to AnTuTu, the implementation of the SSD array system allows the Black Shark 4 Pro to deliver blazing-fast read and write operations and hence achieved an admirable MEM’s performance.

Sitting in the second position is none other than the Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro after overtaking the OPPO Find X3 Pro which now slides to the forth position. Interestingly, the Red Magic 6 Pro is only barely behind the Black Shark 4 Pro by only around 100 points. Therefore, a new software update might be enough to push the device to the top position.

Coming to the third to tenth positions, we also have the OnePlus 9 Pro, OPPO Find X3 Pro, Vivo X60 Pro+, iQOO 7, OnePlus 9, ASUS ROG Phone 5, Realme GT, as well as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.

For the month of June, we won’t be expecting any major reshuffling to the top 10 list too. However, we might be greeted by some new faces like the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, Nubia Red Magic 6R and Nubia Z30 Pro which were recently announced in the Chinese market.
