After all the waiting, Realme has finally confirmed that the company’s first flagship of the year – Realme GT 5G – will be set for global unveiling on June 15th next week.
Along with the Realme GT 5G, the company will also take the opportunity to announce its latest AIoT strategy with a slew of new products under Realme TechLife.
Earlier reports have claimed that the Realme GT 5G will be one of the most affordable Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone in the market, and is hence likely to be priced below other flagship phones like the OPPO Find X3 Pro (Review).
Some of the key highlights of the Realme GT 5G include a 6.43-inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, Snapdragon 888, 64MP triple-camera system, 16MP selfie camera, 4,500mAh battery, as well as 65W SuperDart charging support.
For context, the device is priced at 2,899 Yuan (US$448) and 3,399 Yuan (US$525) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants in the Chinese market. However, we do expect its pricing to be slightly higher in the global markets.
