Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Launch Delayed to October, Claims Report

The Samsung Galaxy F21 5G’s arrival seems to be delayed. Fresh information shared by a South Korean publication reveals that its launch has been postponed due to the shortage of chipsets.

Previous reports had claimed that the production of the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition will begin in July, and it will go official in August. However, the new reports states that the Galaxy S21 FE’s launch date has been postponed to October.

On top of that, the Galaxy F21 FE may only release in limited markets such as the U.S. and Europe. The report specifically mentions that the device may not launch in Korea or Japan. Tipster Chun claimed that October is the earliest plan to announce the S21 FE, and there is a possibility that its launch may get delayed further.

Earlier this month, Chun claimed that the S21 FE’s production has been suspended. At that time, the South Korean tech giant released a statement that it has not decided to stop the production of S21 FE. Samsung is yet to respond to the new report that claims that the S21 FE’s launch has been pushed to October.

Last year, the company unveiled the Galaxy S21 FE in September and made it available for purchase in October. Hence, it is likely that S21 FE may debut around the same time this year.

In related news, Samsung is expected to hold a launch event in August to announce Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3 5G, Galaxy Watch4, and Galaxy Watch Active4. Earlier this year, the company had confirmed that it will not be launching a Note series flagship this year.
