We’d already heard about the existence of the Huawei MatePad 11 during the company’s global product launch event last month. Right now, this exciting device has made it’s official debut in the Chinese market where it carries a starting price of just 2,469 Yuan (US$381).
As we all know, the Huawei MatePad 11 is the first batch of tablets that run on Huawei’s proprietary HarmonyOS 2.0 that comes with many intuitive features like Huawei Share and Multi-Window which boost multi-tasking capabilities on the tablet. Similarly, it also brings support for Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard and M-Pencil (second-generation) for better productivity.
Upfront, the Huawei MatePad 11 sports a 10.95” IPS LCD display that offers a sharp FHD+ screen resolution and smooth 120Hz screen refresh rate. It’s impressive 86% screen-to-body ratio also brings user a more immersive entertainment experience thanks to the slim bezels that surround the screen.
To allow users to take quick snaps of their documents, the Huawei MatePad 11 also has a nifty 13 megapixels camera on the flip-side that’s accompanied by a LED flash unit. Likewise, there’s also an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for video-calling purposes too.
Under the hood, the Huawei MatePad 11 is powered by last year’s flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset which is paired with 6GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. Most importantly, it’s storage capacity can be further expanded via a microSD card as well.
On the audio side of things, the Huawei MatePad 11 features 4 built-in microphones that help to accurately pick up your voice during a conference call. On top of that, it also comes with a powerful quad-speaker system tuned by audiophile specialist Harmon Kardon.
To keep it’s light on, the Huawei MatePad 11 draws power from a respectable 7,250mAh battery that carries support for 22.5W fast-charging. In terms of connectivity, the MatePad 11 is able to support Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, USB Type-C, as well as USB 3.0.
In the Chinese market, the Huawei MatePad 11 is priced at 2,469 Yuan (US$381), 2,799 Yuan (US$432) and 3,299 Yuan (US$509) respectively for it’s 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB variants.
