Earlier today, Xiaomi has dropped a new teaser on it’s Weibo microblog which hints on the imminent launch of a new Inverse Scale color variant for the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition smartphone.
Although the teaser doesn’t directly reveal anything about this variant, but it seems to hint that the phone could be arriving with a mixture of Red and Black colorways for it’s back panel.
Redmi K40 Gaming Edition Specications
The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition features a 6.67” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution that’s topped with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate.
In the camera department, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition relies on a triple-camera system at the back which is lead by a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. This will be accompanied by a 16 megapixels shooter upfront for selfie and video-calling purposes.
Under the hood, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is expected to be fitted with a massive 5,065mAh battery which carries support for 67W fast-charging that’s capable of delivering a full charge from 0 to 100% within a short span of just 42 minutes.
