Realme GT Neo2 will be announced on Sept. 22 in China. Ahead of the launch, Realme China’s CMO Xu Qi took to Weibo to hint at the pricing of the Neo2.
In his latest Weibo post, Xu Qi asked Realme fans about how to make a product of an invincible quality with a pricing of 2,500 Yuan ($387). This indicates that the Neo2 may carry a starting price of 2,500 Yuan ($387).
At the same tipster, a Chinese tipster shared a screenshot of Realme’s internal ordering software. It reveals that the GT Neo2 is listed in two variants such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. They are priced at 2,499 Yuan ($387), 2,699 Yuan ($418), and 2,999 Yuan ($468), respectively. Readers are advised to take the pricing information with a grain of salt as the company is yet to announce it officially.
Realme GT Neo2 Specifications
Reports have revealed that the Realme GT Neo2 will feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel that will offer a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will come embedded with a fingerprint scanner.
It will be equipped with a front camera of 16-megapixel and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera setup on the rear. The smartphone will come preinstalled with Android 11 OS and Realme UI 2.0.
The Realme GT Neo2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W rapid charging. It is speculated that there could be a Dimensity 1200 chipset variant of the smartphone. This model is likely to be priced at around 2,000 Yuan ($310).
