Time Travel: This could be our first look at the POCO M4 Pro 5G

POCO will be launching it’s next budget-friendly smartphone – POCO M4 Pro 5G – in the global market on November 9th next week. Ahead of it’s official launch, we’re now able to get our first look at the upcoming device courtesy of Vietnamese outlet ThePixel.

The series of renders published on it’s website pretty much confirmed past reports that the POCO M4 Pro 5G is a rebranded model of the Redmi Note 11 5G that was recently announced in the Chinese market.

However, unlike the Redmi Note 11 5G, the POCO M4 Pro 5G will be adopting a dual-tone design for it’s rear panel just like it’s POCO M3 Pro 5G predecessor. Apart from that, the phone retains the same central hole-punch display upfront as well as a rectangular camera island on the rear side.

In terms of specs, we aren’t expecting any changes to it’s internals. As such, the POCO M4 Pro 5G should probably arrives with the same 6.6” IPS LCD display that brings along a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.

For photography, the POCO M4 Pro 5G relies on a dual-cam setup at the back that includes a 50 megapixels main camera as well as an 8 megapixels ultra-wide unit.

Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset which will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage in the memory department.

To keep it’s lights on, it draws power from a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging that’s good enough to charge the phone from 0 to 100% in just 62 minutes.
