Most of the major smartphone makers had already confirmed on the launch of at least one smartphone model at the beginning of 2022. Now, Lenovo has also announced that the company will be launching a new gaming centric smartphone known as the Lenovo Legion Y90 on January 1st.
The teaser published by the company revealed that the device will be featuring a large 6.92” E4 AMOLED display that carries support for a smooth 144Hz refresh rate as well as an ultra-responsive 720Hz touch sampling rate.
On top of that, it was also confirmed that the phone will feature an advance dual-engine air-cooling system for sustained gaming performance. However, it was not known whether the company is referring to the revolutionary Twin Turbo-Fan cooling system that’s found on the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2.
As for the rest of the specs, they remain under the wraps at the moment. Also, it’s not known whether the Lenovo Legion Y90 will be equipped with the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset like most other upcoming flagship models.
