Recently, iQOO announced three new devices namely the iQOO U5, iQOO Neo5S, and iQOO Neo5 SE in the Chinese market. Now, the company took to its Weibo handle to reveal that it will be unleashing the iQOO 9 series of smartphones on Jan. 5 in the home market.
iQOO 9 Series Design
The iQOO 9 series poster reveals that it will continue to sport BMW M Motorsport inspired design with a white-colored back panel which has the signature red, black, and blue stripes on it.
Likewise, it can also be seen flaunting a huge rectangle-shaped camera module. It is equipped with an OIS enabled triple camera unit. The lineup is expected to include two models namely, iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro. Both smartphones are expected to arrive with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary camera.
iQOO 9, 9 Pro Specifications (Rumoured)
According to a Chinese tipster, the iQOO 9’s triple camera unit will include an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 main camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 120-degree FOV, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
The iQOO 9 Pro’s triple camera unit on the other hand, may include a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary camera with gimbal OIS support, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens with a 150-degree FOV, as well as an OIS-assisted 16-megapixel lens with 2.5x optical zoom.
The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Both models are also expected to carry support for 120W fast charging and house a battery of around 4,700mAh capacity.
The vanilla model may feature a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED E5 display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other side, the iQOO 9 Pro may arrive with a 6.78-inch AMOLED E5 curved edge screen that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
