After all the leaks and rumors over the past couple of months, Samsung has finally confirmed the official date for it’s next Galaxy Unpacked event which will be take place on February 9th, next month. This event will see the launch of Samsung next-generation’s Galaxy S22 series smartphones as well as the Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets.
For the Galaxy S22 series lineup, the company is expected to announce at least three models such as the vanilla Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, as well as a top-of-the-line model likely to be known as the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The latter is expected to be a replacement for the Galaxy Note series smartphones, meaning it will come with support for S-Pen as well as a dedicated slot to store the stylus.
Besides sporting a more refined design, the Galaxy S22 series devices will also be powered by the latest Exynos 2200/ Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets, and boast considerable upgrades to it’s rear camera system.
As for the Galaxy Tab S8 series lineup, Samsung is also expected to launch the slate in three different models including the likes of Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, as well as the highest-end Tab S8 Ultra.
