This will be our first official look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

We first heard about the existence of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G last year after renowned leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer released a series of CAD-based renderings that show off the front and rear design of the phone in full glory.

Now, reliable German news outlet Winfuture.de has also published what seems to be the official renderings of the Galaxy A53 which corroborate with the design that we saw earlier on.

Apart from revealing it’s renders, the source also published pretty much the entire specs of the Galaxy A53 as well. According to the information presented, the phone is expected to feature a 6.5” Super AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Coming to the imaging front, the four cameras at the back are said to include a 64 megapixels main camera, 12 megapixels ultra-wide unit, as well as a pair of 5 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information. This will be rounded out by a 32 megapixels front-facing camera for snapping selfies.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A53 might well be the first Samsung smartphone to be equipped with the new Exynos 1200 chipset which will be paired with at least 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage that can be further expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the Galaxy A53 is expected to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 25W fast-charging. As usual, the phone is likely to be shipped with Samsung’s custom One UI based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
