Starting with the front, the OPPO A16e features a 6.52” IPS LCD display which offers a modest HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. For selfies and video calls, the phone does has a decent 5 megapixels front-facing camera to pick up the task.

At the back, it comes with a square-shaped cam era module which houses only a single 13 megapixels snapper that will be aided by a LED flash. Quite interestingly, the phone doesn’t comes with any form of biometric authentication due to a lack of fingerprint scanner onboard.

Unlike the OPPO A16k which was powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, the OPPO A16e is equipped with a Helio P22 chipset instead. This will be paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which supports further expansion via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the phone is equipped with a 4,230mAh battery that doesn’t comes with any form of fast-charging solution. Software-wise, it’ll be shipped with ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.

For those who’re interested, the phone is available in a trio of colors such as Midnight Black, Blue, and White. At the moment, the OPPO has yet to officially disclose the pricing and availability of the phone.
