Another month had passed and AnTuTu is now back again with the list of top 10 best performing flagship phones for the month of March. This time round, we did see some notable changes to the list of top 10 flagship devices with new MediaTek Dimensity 9000-powered smartphones now appearing in the top four positions.
As usual, the data source of this ranking was culminated from AnTuTu Benchmark V9 from March 1st to 31st. It’s worth noting that the average score was calculated from more than 1,000 devices, and may continue to change as more devices are being benchmarked.
For the month of March, the newly announced Red Magic 7 Pro was crowned as the best-performing flagship model after achieving a whopping score of 1,037,315 points on AnTuTu for it’s top-of-the-line model with 16GB+256GB memory configuration.
According to AnTuTu, the main contributing factor for it’s record-breaking score lies in it’s next-generation’s ICE 8.0 Multi-dimensional Cooling System which does an excellent job in keeping the phone’s temperature down when playing high intensity game titles such as Genshin Impact to prevent the phone from throttling.
Sitting in the second and third positions are none other than the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro which achieved a rather similar scores that differ by a fine margin of around 1.5k. What’s interesting this time round however, is the appearance of the first MediaTek Dimensity 9000-powered smartphone – Redmi K50 Pro – in the forth position.
As for the fifth to tenth positions, we have the Nubia Z40 Pro, OPPO Find X5 Pro (Dimensity Edition), Xiaomi 12 Pro, Realme GT2 Pro, Motorola Edge X30, as well as the Redmi K50. These devices are all powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipsets.
For the month of April, we can expect to see some (major) movements in the list of top 10 best-performing smartphones due to the recent launch of the Black Shark 5 Pro and Honor Magic4 Ultimate which are likely to make it into the list.
