OnePlus is reportedly planning to launch the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, which will be positioned lower than the OnePlus Nord CE 2, which was announced in February this year. The specifications of the Nord CE 2 Lite have already leaked through different sources in the past few weeks. Today, tipster Yogesh Brar released a tweet to give the first look at the Nord CE 2 Lite.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Render
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite render shows that its display will feature a punch-hole at the upper-left corner. It has a noticeable chin. The device is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Its rear shell has a triple camera unit and an LED flash at the top-left corner. The Nord CE 2 Lite does not feature an alert slider.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite specifications
The Nord CE 2 Lite will feature a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 64-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (mono) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
The Snapdragon 695 chipset will power the Nord CE 2 Lite. The device will come with 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of built-in storage. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
The handset will run on OxygenOS. However, it is unclear whether it will boot to Android 11 or Android 12. There is no word on the launch date of the device. It is likely that the device will go official in Q2 this year in India with a sub-Rs 20,000 price tag.
