Last month, OnePlus announced it’s long awaited OnePlus 10 Pro flagship in the global market which seems to be pretty well-received by reviewers so far. Now, the company is back with another model dubbed as the OnePlus 10R that aims to deliver the same impressive performance, but at a more affordable price point.
For starter, the new model builds around a 6.7” centered hole-punch display which adopts a high-end AMOLED panel that offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, there’s also a 16 megapixels front-facing camera as well.
The back of the phone features a dual-tone design with a rectangular camera slab on the upper-left corner of the phone which houses a triple-camera array comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera (with OIS support), 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography.
Under the hood, the new OnePlus 10R is powered by a custom MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset which will be paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB built-in storage in the memory department.
Interesting, the OnePlus 10R is offered in two different variants of varying battery capacity and charging speed. The more expensive model features a 4,500mAh battery with 150W fast wired charging support, while the slightly cheaper model has a larger 5,000mAh battery capacity with a slower 80W charging speed.
Likewise, to protect the battery against degradation, the phone also features a Customized Smart Charging Chip – something which sets the phone apart from most other models with super fast charging capability.
Software-wise, the OnePlus 10R is shipped with the latest OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 OS right off the box. Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Sierra Black and Forrest Green.
Pricing for the OnePlus 10R will start from INR 38,999 (US$509) for the 80W model with 8GB+128GB configuration, and goes up to INR 43,999 (US$574) for it’s 150W model with 12GB+256GB configuration.
