Vivo S15 series of smartphones is all set to go official on May 19 in China. The lineup includes two models, such as the Vivo S15 and Vivo S15 Pro. The key specifications of both smartphones are already known. The company released the official renders of the Vivo S15 today to show off the different colours it comes in.
The Vivo S15 will be available in Midsummer (Blue), Light Gold, and Black. The handset can be seen sporting a boxy design in the official renders. On the back of the device, there is a camera module with three cameras and an LED flash.
Vivo S15 Specifications (Rumored)
The Vivo S15 is believed to be the Vivo V2199A smartphone, which was approved by China’s 3C and TENAA authorities recently. The device is expected to arrive with a 6.62-inch OLED FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate.
It will feature a 16-megapixel front camera. The rear camera setup of the phone will have a 64-megapixel main camera. It will be coupled with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro/depth sensor.
The device is expected to run on the Android 12 OS and FunTouch OS 12. For security, it will have an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The Snapdragon 870 chipset will be present under the hood of the device. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery that may carry support for 80W fast charging.
The Vivo S15 Pro is likely to feature a 6.56-inch OLED FHD+ curved display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be equipped with the Dimensity 8100 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery with 80W rapid charging support. For photography, it may feature a 50-megapixel main camera on the back.
