Redmi Note 12 Series Key Details Tipped

Redmi recently unveiled the Redmi Note 11T Pro, Note 11T Pro+, and Redmi Note 11 SE smartphones in China. It appears that the company could be done with the Note 11 series and it may soon shift focus to the Note 12 lineup. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has seemingly shared preliminary information about the upcoming Note 12 lineup.

The Chinese tipster has shared details of a mid-range lineup that will debut in the second half of this year. The comments section of the phone suggests that he may have spilt details of the Redmi Note 12 series.

In all likelihood, the Redmi Note 12 launch event could be held in October this year. The tipster revealed that the early prototype of the Note 12 series has a flat display with a centrally aligned punch-hole. It will also carry support for a high refresh rate.

The rear side of the device will feature a 50-megapixel triple camera unit. There is no major change in the arrangement of the camera lenses as compared to the previous generation. It will be equipped with a horizontal LED flash unit.

Unfortunately, the tipster did not share any details on the specifications of the Redmi Note 12 series. With a couple of months remaining until the expected October launch, the rumor mill will reveal more details on it in the coming weeks.

In related news, Redmi is reportedly gearing up to launch the Redmi K50i and Redmi K50i Pro smartphones in India. Rumors are rife that these devices will be rebranded versions of the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Note 11T Pro+ smartphones that were announced in China recently. The same devices are expected to be released in global markets with the POCO X4 GT and POCO X4 GT Pro monikers.
